If you are looking for a holiday cottage to let in France, then look no further than our cottage in Huelgoat in Brittany.
Noted for its outstanding natural beauty, the Breton village of Huelgoat is part of the Monts d’Arree National Park in central Finisterre; about an hour from Roscoff ferry port, 25 minutes from the Channel beaches and 45 minutes from the breathtaking Crozon Peninsular and the beaches of the Atlantic Coast.
La Colombe is a detached holiday cottage, situated within easy walking distance of Huelgoat’s lively village centre, with its bars, restaurants, creperies, market and shops, but in a quiet cadre of private residential houses.
Huelgoat is amongst the most picturesque villages in Brittany, having a very pretty lake, a unique walk amongst giant boulders left over from the ice ages, a canal-side walk, a waterfall and an old silver-mine and is surrounded by dense forests with well marked trails. There is an open air pool, open in the school holidays.
La Colombe is a very pretty little holiday cottage only a few paces from the forest, with its own completely private garden for relaxation, barbeques or a safe play area for children. Garden furniture and a barbeque are provided.
Access to the cottage is straight from a made-up road; there are no spine-jolting country tracks to negotiate. Driving in Huelgoat and around Brittany could not be easier. Visitors always comment about the lack of traffic and the excellent car parking which is generally free. |
